Sr. DevOps Engineer, F/T at Aflac (Columbus, GA). Responsible for automating s/ware deployment processes by releasing incremental updates & dvlpg automation tools. Build & implmt new dvlpmt tools & infrastructure. Dvlp s/ware to integrate w/ internal back-end systems. Dsgn procedures for system troubleshooting & maintenance. Must have a Bach's deg in Comp Sci, Info Systems or related technology field + 6 yrs of progressive exp dvlpg & working w/ DevOps technology, processes, & strategy performing the following: Applying DevOps & Agile principles; Migrating applications to cloud-based DevOps on Amazon Web Services (AWS); Dsgng & dvlpg applications using Windows/Linux platforms; Adhering to dsgn & prgmg standards to produce high quality s/ware; Dvlpg s/ware in conjunction w/ other dvlpmt team members; Applying strong understanding of S/ware dvlpmt life cycle & DevOps practice; Scripting w/ Groovy & Shell; Creating python virtual environments & hosting IIS based PyPI server; Utilizing exp w/: LDAP; Linux; Ansible; AWS Infra services incl but not limited to EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, VPC, Route53 & Infrastructure provisioning & decommission; AWS Compute & N/working services incl but not limited to EC2,ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, AWS managed k8S services; Utilizing exp w/ Git & GitHub workflows & CI/CD using Jenkins & Gitlab pipelines. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's deg in Comp Sci, Info Systems or related technology field + 4 yrs of exp dvlpg & working w/ DevOps technology, processes, & strategy performing the aforementioned. Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of & reports to Aflac offices in Columbus, GA. Must be available to travel to Columbus, GA regularly for meetings & reviews w/ manager & project teams w/in 24-hrs' notice. Salary Range $127,315 - $169,000.
