We are seeking a
Project Manager
to oversee our data center technician team in East Wenatchee, WA. In this role, you will manage data center projects by providing daily direction to the team, tracking work hours, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion, resolving team challenges, managing headcount across multiple concurrent projects, updating progress trackers, serving as the onsite point of contact, and handling various administrative tasks for a Fortune 500 global technology company. Key Responsibilities Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of data center projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards. Team Coordination:
Provide clear daily direction to technicians regarding tasks and responsibilities. Resource Management:
Manage headcount and ensure adequate coverage across multiple simultaneous projects. Progress Tracking & Scheduling:
Monitor and record daily hours worked to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Issue Resolution:
Identify and resolve challenges or issues faced by the team, implementing effective solutions promptly. Client Communication:
Maintain daily status trackers and serve as the primary onsite point of contact for technicians and client project managers. Status Reporting & Documentation:
Deliver daily status updates and identify opportunities for additional work or process improvements. Administrative Tasks:
Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to project management processes and procedures. Qualifications Experience:
1-3 years in project management or coordination, preferably within the data center or construction industry. Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including servers and cabling. Tools & Reporting:
Proficiency with project tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Smartsheet, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.). Scheduling & Tracking:
Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking and progress-tracking abilities. Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop effective solutions under pressure. Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong aptitude for client interaction and team collaboration. Leadership:
Proven team management and leadership capabilities. Availability:
Must reside within driving distance of Wenatchee, WA and work onsite Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Seniority level
