Position Overview:
As a City Driver, you will play a crucial role in picking up and delivering freight between Service Centers and customers while supporting our sales efforts.

Connect with a FedEx talent specialist to explore this exciting opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Operate a tractor-trailer combination and perform safety inspections. Handle freight using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Secure freight properly and conduct necessary repairs on damaged goods. Complete necessary documentation and comply with all regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their pick-up and delivery needs. Encourage additional business opportunities by demonstrating exceptional customer service. May be required to perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements. Minimum one year of driving experience or successful completion of the FedEx Freight Driver Development Course. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on our hiring standards. Ability to lift and carry freight weighing up to 100 pounds. Strong communication skills and the capability to follow instructions effectively. Working Conditions: Drive in various weather conditions and on all road types. Exposure to noise, vibration, and diesel fumes may occur. Starting Pay Rate:
