Variety serves children with disabilities throughout the five-county Philadelphia area, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
Brief Description: Do you love kids and spending your summer poolside? Variety – The Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley is hiring lifeguards for our summer programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shift from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Enforce pool rules.
- Administer first aid if necessary.
- Administer CPR and/or artificial respiration if necessary.
- Skim pool daily.
- Remove all toys and debris from the pool daily.
Qualifications:
- 16 years of age or older.
- All applicable PA state clearances.
- Ability to accept supervision and guidance.
- Ability to display a mature, professional standard.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Exhibit personal characteristics including compassion, kindness, and empathy.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay starts at $15.
- Certification reimbursement based on full attendance.
- Complimentary bottled water.
- Free tickets to Holiday Lane Event (4 units).
