A well-run healthcare system in beautiful Dover, Delaware, is recruiting for outpatient neurologists. They have two hospitals that are 30 minutes apart. They also just opened a brand new clinic, just minutes from the hospital campus. This is an exciting opportunity for neurologists to join a program group, where the administration sincerely values the input of providers and wants to develop a practice dedicated to quality patient care.
Highlights: Teach – there are opportunities to teach nursing and PA students, FM and IM residents through GME office Ability to seek faculty appointment Support of 3 APPs; neurosciences nurse navigator; and full support staff team in clinic Research – supportive of clinical and outcomes research; they also have their own IRB JCAHO Primary Stroke Centers, with Gold Elite Plus awards 6-bed NCCU, with plans to move to closed unit Outpatient practice - only hospital call is helping with vacation coverage Headache neurologists, generalists, and neurophysiologists would complement the current team well, though neurologists of all subspecialty interests are encouraged to apply There are opportunities to collaborate with providers from all over Delaware since the goal is to improve stroke and neurological care for the entire patient population of the state! J-1 and H1-b visa support available
Dover, DE: Dover is right along the Delaware shoreline, not far from Lewes, Bethany, and Rehoboth beaches. Dover is also within 90 minutes of Philadelphia and Baltimore, and just 2 hours to Washington DC. Their central location makes it easy to access many large cities for culture and shopping – plus it allows for the ability to choose to from multiple large airports! Dover has a low cost of living, with many newly built homes or idyllic beach homes. Delaware also has incredibly low income and real estate taxes, no sales tax, and excellent public schools!
