A Better Pop, for a Better World!Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for managing and executing effective supply chain planning strategies in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team to ensure optimal inventory levels, robust material plans and efficient processes. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, production, logistics, and warehousing to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services from origin to destination. The Supply Chain Planning Manager will also be responsible for optimizing inventory levels and improving overall supply chain performance.Key Responsibilities:Forecasting and Planning:Develop and manage accurate raw material forecasts with suppliers between 1-12 months using historical data, market trends, and input from sales, production, and procurement.Drive data integrity including logical MRP inputs to optimize processes systematically and maintain predictabilityBe the liaison with procurement, production, suppliers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and efficient production and delivery of products.Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions or bottlenecks.Inventory Management:Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand fluctuations, minimize excess stock, and avoid plant shutdowns.Responsible for raw material lifecycle planning including minimizing obsolescence loss and new item roll outs from supplier to production.Leads a frequent review of inventory audits and reconciliation to identify areas of improvement in partnership with the warehouse.Process Improvement:Show initiative to develop new planning processes to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain planning. Responsible for the following KPIs: inventory turn ratio, on time delivery, material forecast accuracy.Champion improvements to accounts payable processing in conjunction with the Finance team to reduce errors and back end workQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CPSM) is a plus.Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in supply chain management, material planning or a related field.Strong understanding of raw material planning, logistics, and inventory management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems (NetSuite), WMS, forecasting tools).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
