Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our growing Real Estate Practice Group.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced and collaborative team on high-profile deals, and to contribute to the continued success of the firm.

• Represent clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, and financing of commercial properties.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, joint ventures, and financing documents.
• Advise clients on zoning, land use, and other regulatory matters affecting commercial real estate.
• Assist clients with due diligence, title reviews, environmental concerns, and closing preparations.
• Work closely with developers, investors, and institutional lenders to structure transactions that align with client goals.
• Provide strategic advice on real estate investments, real estate portfolios, and property development.
• Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm (e.g., tax, litigation, corporate) to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar (in good standing) where the position is located.
• 4+ years of experience practicing real estate law with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
• Proven ability to manage complex real estate matters independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong client service orientation and the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience with real estate financing, including familiarity with commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), mezzanine loans, and other financing structures.
• Knowledge of zoning, land use, and regulatory processes in commercial development.
• Experience representing clients in large-scale real estate development projects.
