We are seeking an experienced Full Time Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in insurance defense and have a proven track record as a defense paralegal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of professionals committed to providing the highest level of legal services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing paralegal support to attorneys, managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing legal documents. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys in all aspects of insurance defense litigation.
  2. Manage case files from inception through trial, including maintaining accurate case calendars, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all case materials are properly filed and organized.
  3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various insurance defense matters.
  4. Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and discovery requests and responses.
  5. Coordinate and facilitate communication between all parties involved in litigation, including clients, attorneys, court personnel, and expert witnesses.
  6. Prepare for and assist attorneys during trials, including preparing trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  7. Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and court decisions in the field of insurance defense.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in insurance defense.
  2. A paralegal certification from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
