POSITION SUMMARY

SET ACTIVE is seeking a Director of Operations to join our team! This individual will be responsible for aligning financial goals with business strategy, implementing financial and operational strategies to support the company's growth objectives, and identifying inefficiencies and areas where improvements can be made.

This is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about all things sales and inventory as it relates to data and improving processes/procedures. We are a start-up, so no job is too big or too small for any of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with C suite to align sales and inventory goals with business strategy.

Conduct month-end OTB, monthly sales, daily sales, and drop week analysis to assess business health and identify opportunities and risks.

Create bottoms-up and tops-down forecasts and goals that align with business and brand directions.

Analyze buying patterns and forecast growth to order all POS to manage inventory and meet demand.

Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales.

Analysis of customer ordering behavior and buying patterns.

Lead product reorders and manage the launch of extended sizing.

Communicate inventory updates to relevant teams and ensure order fulfillment.

Plan out monthly and yearly sale and promotional strategies and provide a list of markdown styles and discounts to all necessary teams.

Manage all PO's (incorporating the OTB and communicating the receipt plan with 3PL), including photoshoot samples, and reconciling with invoices.

Reconcile and approve all 3PL charges.

Optimize and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee supply chain management, including inventory control, vendor relations, and logistics.

Implement best practices for customer service, order fulfillment, and product delivery.

Utilize data analytics to drive business decisions and improve operational performance.

Prepare and present regular reports to the C suite team.

Evaluate and implement operational systems and tools to improve efficiency.

Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align financial and operational strategies with overall business objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

6+ years of experience in planning and buying within a D2C apparel business.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.

Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).

Experience with 3PLs, retail store experience, and wholesale.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to streamline interactions across multiple departments and stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to plan ahead.

Leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision-making.

Detail-oriented and flexible; able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing objectives.
