We are looking for a Planning Director to join our team! The Planning Director will align volume and product mix with inventory strategies and integrate financial and operational plans to achieve strategic objectives and financial results for key accounts. This individual will be an experienced, analytically driven leader capable of independent work, excelling in problem-solving, and thriving in a fast-paced environment to maximize Allstar's potential and support its growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and present 18 months rolling sales, margin, and inventory forecasts, including S&OP processes, at monthly business reviews and reforecast meetings.
Continuously update and analyze business plans and sales/inventory levels for key accounts, ensuring alignment with divisional sales, profitability goals, and identifying risks and opportunities.
Collaborate daily with sales, production, and operations teams to achieve inventory and sales goals, while managing retail planning analyses for key accounts.
Monitor and assist in weekly reporting for core Replenishment KPIs (In-stocks, Inventory, POS, Fill Rate, and Days of Supply), identifying opportunities, root causes, and corrective measures.
Collaborate in the development of bottoms up ladder plans for major accounts or programs to ensure optimal assortments and drive sales.
Monitor replenishment SKU/Size level retail sales and wholesale shipping projections to ensure a well-managed OTB and timely procurement requisitions.
Demonstrated experience in retail data analysis.
Drive financial architecture and optimize SKU plans by analyzing product performance across wholesale and retail levels, considering retailer types, accounts, assortments, styles, and locations.
Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes, generate solutions, and implement corrective measures to optimize planning processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; Master's is a plus.
5-7+ years of Planning experience in a Wholesale environment.
Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Strong understanding of retail math, including sales, gross margin, markup and markdown rates.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders based on analysis and forecasting.
Experience in creating innovative reporting tools and maintaining competitive analytical capabilities.
Solid understanding of statistical forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, and detailed production planning.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain business processes and challenges.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 a plus
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, and experience is: $125,000-150,000 per year.
