Senior Leasing Attorney

Job Overview:A prominent law firm seeks a seasoned attorney with 8 years of expertise in commercial leasing to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role involves leading lease negotiations and fostering strong client relationships in a collaborative environment.Duties:Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets and letters of intent.Supervise junior leasing attorneys and guide as needed.Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, and brokers.Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both verbal and written formats.Deliver timely and high-quality legal work.Cultivate positive relationships within the team and with clients.Adhere to all firm policies and procedures.Perform both sedentary and physical tasks related to the role.Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:Minimum of 8 years in commercial lease drafting and negotiation.Proven experience in managing a variety of lease types, including office and retail.Familiarity with landlord representation.Education:Juris Doctor (JD)Certifications:Admission to the California BarSkills:Deep understanding of the commercial leasing market.Excellent negotiation, analytical, and writing abilities.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Good business judgment and attention to detail.Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
