JOB SUMMARY

This job requires a person to accurately create all export documentation required to ship goods to international customers. This would include both parcel and LTL/Air Freight shipments across all our product lines. Work would need to be accomplished within a reasonable and timely manner. This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare export documentation that varies in content by ship-to location. (85%)Coordinate the pick-up of out bound freight as required. (10%)Completes special assigned projects from department manager and Logistics Coordinator. (5%)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 2-3 years relevant experienceExperience in export traffic environment preferred, or experience in a Customer Service environment with a related mechanical product line.Strong attention to detail necessary.Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.Previous SAP experience preferred.Strong computer skills and transportation management systems experience highly desired.Continuous improvement/process improvement mindset ideal.

Working conditions are normal for an office and/or client site workshop or warehousing facility. The noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet, however local and client sites can be unpredictable and associated safety equipment should be worn accordingly.
