If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today’s technology well, please start your application today!ResponsibilitiesHandle all aspects of litigating personal injury cases from initial filing through trial/arbitration or settlementAppear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedingsCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeTake responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasksPrepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondenceOversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staffQualifications
2-5 years experience representing clients in arbitrations and trialsWSBA Membership requiredPublic speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this roleMust be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervisionPrior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years requiredWell-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is neededCompensation
