Summary:

The Sr. Brand Manager, Pub Beer Brand Family, is a critical role in the marketing function responsible for managing the largest craft brand by volume in the PNW. This role operates between the PNW Marketing Director, marketing functional counterparts, and PNW sales team to bring the Pub Beer Brand Family and “Cheap Fun.” communication platform to life across all consumer touchpoints. The Sr. Brand Manager is responsible for developing clear yearly brand objectives, managing the yearly brand budget, and developing marketing strategies that drive Pub Beer brand relevance and affinity in all core and expansion markets. The Sr. Brand Manager will lead the marketing team & agency partners with tactical executions designed to achieve yearly brand KPIs and volume targets. This individual is the steward of the Pub Beer Brand family with a high level of creative flexibility, operating within the existing brand positioning and “Cheap Fun.” communication strategy, to ensure brand integrity, consistency, and relevance to target consumers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the yearly marketing strategy for the Pub Beer Brand family portfolio across all consumer touchpoints.

Regularly analyze brand insights, consumer insights, and competitive trends, to inform strategic plans, innovation launches, and activations for the Pub Beer Brand Family.

Develop and deliver brand creative briefs that align with brand strategy and value-based brand proposition for all creative projects to ICX team and agency partners, managing timelines and deliverables.

Lead marketing plan development through creation of well-researched background (insights, trends, opportunities etc.), creation of clear/measurable objectives, strategies, KPIs, timeline, budget required and tactical plans.

Lead x-functional marketing team (Social/Digital, Trade, Events, Merch, Pubs, PR) from kick-off of brand plans to execution and final reporting of priority brand campaigns.

Responsible for consistent communication and review of all marketing plans/executions with leadership team to ensure compliance to overarching brand strategy.

Provide ongoing collaboration and creative input on design projects with Creative Director.

Lead innovation recommendations based on situational analysis and product/consumer expertise.

Lead development of clear commercial strategy in partnership with the Commercialization Director.

Maintain close x-functional relationships across marketing, sales, brewing, operations, pubs to ensure new product launches, marketing activations and sales activations are supported appropriately.

Leading role in strategic planning for products, ensuring the one and 3-year plans for 10 Barrel are on track and successful.

Own the marketing brand budget for Pub Beer Brand Family.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Development of marketing plans – Clear understanding of how to develop marketing plans using insights, clear brand objectives, strategies, execution & reporting.

Time Management & Organization – High-level of organization, managing to critical milestones and delivering plans and executions on-time and in-full.

Insight Driven – Proficient at analyzing, distilling, and leveraging data/insights to inform brand strategies & executions as well as evaluating brand health.

Leadership – Strong ability to lead execution of brand plan across multiple departments (marketing, sales, operations, brewing etc.).

Brand Strategy – Clear understanding of developing short and long-term brand strategies, taking a lead role in the Pub Beer Brand Family one-year and 3-year plans.

High-Level of communication – Proficient communicator, able to communicate brand direction to internal counterparts and stakeholders, brand leadership, and external partners.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field preferred.

Solid foundational understanding of brand marketing principles.

6+ years of marketing experience in Brand Marketing.

3+ years of people management experience.

Experience in the Craft beer industry preferred but not required.

Proven history of building/growing brands.

Physical Requirements:

Conducts work in a sitting position primarily; however, job requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
