Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of actionTake responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasksPerform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motionsManage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerksDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsQualifications
Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experienceAdvanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs is neededWork independently while handling a heavy caseloadPrior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years requiredCompensation
