Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 per year

We are a Miami based non-profit aiming to care for our community's homeless populations. As a leading developer of supporting housing in the market, we have established ourselves as a staple in the community and have impacted the lives of over 10,000 homeless individuals over the last 20 years.

Position Summary: The VP of Finance will oversee all accounting & finance functions for our company and affiliates including but not limited to financial controls, systems, compliance, accounting, tax, and reporting. As a key member of our executive leadership team, the VP will report directly to the CEO and will have a significant and immediate impact on our operations.

Day to Dy Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting team
• Maintenance of ERP and accounting processes
• Develop and manage annual budgets
• Timely financial reporting
• Budget v Forecast analysis and corrective action
• Development project cost tracking and reporting
• Tax filing / audit coordination
• Cash flow management
• Maintain financial controls
• Partner with other executive leaders on strategy development
• Oversee investments
• Act as liaison for investors, banking partners, and other funders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 7+ years financial leadership roles
• Non-profit industry experience
• Financial reporting knowledge
• Housing / Real Estate industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Affordable housing experience
• LIHTC and HUD experience
• CPA
• MBA
