The Adult Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) **Assess, diagnose, and treat adult patients for both acute and chronic conditions under the supervision of an attending PhysicianConduct patient histories, perform physical exams, and order necessary tests to inform treatment decisionsPrescribe medications, order labs, and request imaging to manage immediate care needs and provide follow-up recommendationsDocument patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)Develop and implement comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each patientCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care and provide guidance for post-discharge follow-upEducate patients on preventive care and health maintenance strategiesComplete documentation and charting in a timely manner to meet medical records standards and support billing requirements*Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, preferably as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenseStrong skills in patient assessment, clinical care, and thorough documentationPatient-focused with a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality careExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical settingHighly organized with the ability to maintain accurate and timely medical recordsDesired *
