Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team at one of their primary care centers in Queens. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages.
**The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) *Obtain patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and document findings in electronic medical records (EMR)Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing minor procedures like suturing and splintingOrder and interpret lab tests and imaging to guide clinical decision-makingProvide patient education and counseling on preventive care and chronic disease managementCollaborate with healthcare teams to discuss patient care and implement new clinical protocolsDeliver high-quality care and ensure patients are informed about post-discharge and follow-up instructionsComplete patient charts in a timely manner to ensure compliance with medical standards and billing requirementsPerform other duties as required to support patient care and clinical operationsPerform other duties as needed
*Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, preferably as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenseStrong skills in patient assessment, clinical care, and thorough documentationPatient-focused with a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality careExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical settingHighly organized with the ability to maintain accurate and timely medical recordsDesired *
*3+ years of experience in an outpatient primary care settingGraduate of a NYS Registered Nurse Practitioner Program
