We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan. As a Family Medicine NP, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive primary care services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions, including illnesses, infections, and injuries.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.

- Perform routine procedures such as suturing, wound care, and interpreting diagnostic tests.

- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in family medicine.

- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff and support the professional development of team members.

Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Mexico.

- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC).

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.

- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of primary care principles and practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
