DescriptionSocial media serves as a platform on which we tell our Chick-fil-A story. The social media marketing specialist position exists to carry out the mission of marketing for Chick-fil-A Southaven on all digital platforms. The restaurant marketing mission is: To produce engaging content for our guests and team members through consistent messaging, thoughtful interactions, and unforgettable experiences. The social media marketing specialist plays a crucial role in directing the voice of Chick-fil-A Southaven to the local community.

Responsibilities and Duties

•Provide consistent, relevant messaging on social media and digital platforms

•Sends out weekly Spotlight rewards based on the needs of the business

•Maintain a daily presence on social media by having an active story every day

•Maintain a weekly social media presence by posting three photos, videos, or reels

•Follow the Chick-fil-A Corporate marketing calendar to promote seasonal or new items

•Assist with consistent team member recognition, engagement activities

•Attend monthly Memphis Marketing Meetings

•Capture photos of restaurant production, team members, and guests consistently

•Utilize up to 5 hours of admin time per week, working on social media scheduling

•Assist catering director in hosting/documenting one guest event/giveaway per quarter

•Assist in other duties, as assigned by the restaurant catering director

•Attend/host weekly instore and offsite events such as but not limited to kids night, market wide events, sponsored events with our local partners

•Attend/host occasional night-time and weekend events

•Attend and represent Chick-fil-A Southaven at local community events (i.e. local Chambers)

•Ensures weekly family nights are planned, supplies purchased and executed

•Assist catering team as needed

Qualifications

•Current knowledge of social media platforms, with an active personal page

•Proficient in Instagram and Facebook story and feed posting

•Proficient In Microsoft Office and other Web design applications such as Canva

•Understand the importance of social media algorithm and engagement

•Experience with photography, videography, social media marketing and video editing is preferred Marketing Team Goals •Increase followers on Instagram and Facebook by 10% each month

•Raise awareness for Chick-fil-A Southaven across community

•Work with restaurant catering director to host one guest event per quarter

•Grow monthly follower engagement by 100% over previous year

•Increase kids night and spirit night participation sales in the restaurant

Company InformationIn our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have.
