RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER:
- Take ownership of the responsibilities and the department
- Engaging directly with clients and senior management, developing and managing professional client relationships
- Experience in Income Tax, Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, and Payroll Tax
- Reviewing tax returns and other deliverables
- Preparing more complex tax returns, tax projections, research and more
- Desire to grow technical skills through diverse engagements
- Build relationships with clients and community contacts and contribute significantly to the ongoing development efforts of the firm
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license with public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in business and personal taxes, and financial statement standards
