OVERVIEW OF THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- The Full Charge Bookkeeper will prepare, analyze, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for grants and contracts.
- Maintain comprehensive grant files and collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting.
- The Bookkeeper will monitor expenditures, revenues, and budgets, and notify management of any discrepancies.
- The Bookkeeper will maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with tax and benefit regulations.
- Assist with month-end closing, audits, and the development of financial policies and procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus!
