Manager, Financial Reporting

Our client recently went public and is building a high-performing team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of external reporting (10-Q, 10-K). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting for a publicly traded company, a thorough understanding of GAAP and SEC regulations, and excellent project management skills.

Overview of the Manager, Financial Reporting role:

• The Manager, Financial Reporting will lead the preparation and review of all SEC filings, including forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K
• The Manager, Financial Reporting will manage the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and other disclosures
• Manually consolidate multiple entities and clearing differences
• Coordinate with external auditors for the quarterly reviews, annual audits, providing supporting documentation and addressing inquiries
• Monitor changes in accounting standards, SEC regulations, and reporting requirements, and assess their impact on the company's financial statements and disclosures
• Owns the equity process

Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• CPA required
• Public/industry mix highly preferred
• Equity experience
• Experience in a similar role at a publicly traded company
