What you will be doing as a Senior Accountant…
- Ensure financial data integrity through thorough bank account reconciliations and accurate journal entry recording.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in inter-company transactions, recording necessary adjustments.
- Manage diverse accounting tasks, including balancing sheets, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
- Optimize workflows with ERP system expertise.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare financial statements and schedules according to monthly close schedule.
- Conduct variance analyses on financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Contribute to special projects regularly.
- Review and post general ledger transactions.
- Assist in compiling data for debt compliance under company's credit agreement.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP across all Company Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
What you need to bring to the table as a Senior Accountant….
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA preferred
- Oil & Gas experience is a plus not a must
