Finance Manager Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a meticulous and strategic FinanceManager to join their team. This Finance Manager role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization's mission through effective financial management.

Key Finance Manager Expectations:

  • Accounting and Reporting: Oversee all accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Grant Management: Manage financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, and reporting to funders.
  • Budget Management
    Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring of financial performance.

  • Audit and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Do You Qualify for the Finance Manager Position?

  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a non-profit organization.
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. Want to stand out, have a CPA, MBA!
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Experience with grant management and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
