General Ledger Accountant

SEEKING GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANTS!

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities of the General Ledger Accountant:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by verifying and reviewing transactions, documents, and reports.
• Maintain the general ledger system and oversee the chart of accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Conduct regular internal audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications of the General Ledger Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
