Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of practicing Connecticut Law. You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, providing legal advice and guidance, and advocating for our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to achieving successful case outcomes and will be adept at drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage a diverse caseload effectively, ensuring all cases are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand all aspects of their case.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, effectively advocating for their interests.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, using strong negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Connecticut Law and changes in legal practice.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
• Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically within the state of Connecticut.
• Active member of the Connecticut State Bar.
• Proven experience in legal research, analysis, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Extensive experience in litigation, with a strong track record of successful case outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
• Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong commitment to advocating for clients and achieving successful case results.
• Proficient in case management software and legal databases.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
