Our client, a growing company locally, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-4 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
