Overview of the Project Accountant role:
- The Project Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager
- The Project Accountant will be responsible for all full-cycle accounting functions of construction projects
- Manage sub-contractors
- Tracking lien waivers
- Monthly forecasting and budgeting
- Assemble client billing packages
- Prepare bank deposits, monthly reconciliations, and cash receipt entries
Preferred Qualifications for the Project Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related experience
- Construction experience preferred
- Understanding of full-cycle accounting and project accounting
- Lien waivers and Pay Apps familiarity
