Job Details:

We are seeking a mechanically-inclined and dedicated hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functioning of our metals manufacturing equipment and processes. Our ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and is knowledgeable about machining, casting, preventive maintenance, CMMS. Responsibilities:

As a Hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Supervising and coordinating the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, lathes, mills, and foundry equipment.
2. Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to equipment malfunctions and process disruptions.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and quality.
5. Managing a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
7. Overseeing the procurement of spare parts and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance.
8. Participating in the planning and execution of new equipment installations and upgrades.
9. Assisting with budget development and management for the maintenance department.
10. Continually analyzing processes and procedures for opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the metals manufacturing industry.
2. A strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotics systems and equipment.
3. Proven experience in managing and implementing successful preventative maintenance programs.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
5. Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
8. Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
9. A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
