Salary: $130,000 - $195,000 per year

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress daily.
- Prepare internal and external reports about job status.
- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Manage the budget and estimate costs.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with a General Contractor with recent experience with Life Sciences Projects.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong leadership and team building abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing clean rooms and labs in construction projects.
