Weekly Pay Range - $2034 To $2259 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience or relevant experience in a similar role License: Registered Nurse State License Certifications: - AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification - AHA PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification - AHA NIHSS Certificate - TNCC Certificate Must-Have: - Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination or declination - Full Hepatitis B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation Job Description: - Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures - Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe care delivery - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education - Delegate patient care priorities in line with the education and experience of the available staff - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care - Organize and prioritize assignments in delivering patient care - Successfully complete orientation programs related to specialty and unit-specific competencies - Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and EMR usage Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification, as per unit requirement Clinical position requiring direct patient interaction and adherence to hospital policy and procedures; Navy Blue scrubs required; Facility uses Epic EMR system.
