Our Employment Law Section’s Workers’ Compensation Defense Unit is currently seeking an experienced, licensed litigation attorney to represent State employers before the Industrial Commission and courts throughout Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills and will have a minimum of 3 years of experience participating in administrative hearings at the Industrial Commission of Ohio and litigation experience handling 4123.512 court appeals.This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to the schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is 30 E. Broad Street, Columbus.Why Work for the State of Ohio

Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.Preferred qualifications:At least 3 years of litigation experience handling 4123.512 appeals and hearing work before the Ohio Industrial Commission.Job skills:
