The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is seeking an Assistant Attorney General for an opening in the Court of Claims Section. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of litigation experience with an interest in further developing those litigation skills. The successful candidate will take on a dynamic caseload defending civil lawsuits in the Ohio Court of Claims. We will ask the person who fills this role to litigate a variety of civil cases, including but not limited to, personal injury, wrongful death, employment law, medical malpractice and general negligence. Duties will include all facets of general litigation, including written discovery, depositions, pleading and motion practice, trial and appellate practice. This position is based in Columbus and offers a hybrid in person/remote schedule.What’s In It For You
