DESCRIPTION OF WORK
DEFINITION: Positions works with school age children in a recreational setting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain safe environment for programs and activities.
- Performing light maintenance and janitorial duties.
- Assist in planning and implementing activities.
- Must adhere to proper discipline procedures as stand in training and approved by
the department. - Assisting other staff members and other tasks that are assigned.
- Assisting recreation supervisors with rentals.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
- General knowledge of recreational sports, parks, programs and services.
- Good leadership and initiation skills.
- Must attend all necessary trainings associated with recreation aide Position.
- Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
