THE POSITION
The Marketing Associate will work at our corporate office in Anaheim, CA and will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing. This position requires someone who is highly motivated and interested in furthering their professional career and elevating the company to new heights. The Marketing Associate role is an entry-level marketing position which will require the candidate to professionally communicate with company stakeholders, including but not limited to, the corporate team, district managers, retail associates, vendors, customers, and brand ambassadors.
The candidate will assist in multiple marketing activities and projects with an emphasis on experiential activations, events, promotions, coordination and execution of loyalty rewards, rebate programs, financing projects, retail marketing management and logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the marketing efforts for the Company’s portfolio of brands.
Provide administrative support to the corporate marketing team.
Collaborate with design team, gathering marketing materials and assets, assisting with campaign development.
Attend and participate in meetings, conference calls, store sales events, grand openings, and brainstorming sessions.
Research competitive products & services by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing and advertising; maintaining research database.
Plan meetings, events, tradeshows, store grand openings, sales and other events by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, and developing schedules and assignments.
Organize production planning: searching for talent, models, and makeup artists; booking production spaces; booking photographers/videographers, etc.
Collaborate with external partners and the creative team to develop promotional materials and marketing elements that align with the overall brand voice, platform, and strategy.
Partner with district and store managers and retail associates to ensure POS/retail marketing material compliance i.e., Promotional Offers, Posters, POS Materials.
Prepare print media and promotion materials ahead of launch dates.
Support organizational marketing plans and programs for initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and product launches, to achieve desired objectives/targets, and to support the overall brand strategy.
Maintain the company’s newsletter regularly with news, promos, and store locations.
Update existing promotional items for content, design, and text.
All other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School or equivalent (Required).
Associates or Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
Must be based in the U.S.
In-Office with occasional field visits.
Must be available for meetings as needed between 9am - 5pm PST.
COMPENSATION: $20 - $25 / hourly DOE
