Overview:

Montara Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our executive functions and contributing to our company's overall success.This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. We expect the candidate to work 10-15 hours per week. This position will be hybrid, with most of the work happening remotely, but the candidate will occasionally need to be available on-site. This position will report directly to the VP of Business Operations.Key Responsibilities

Executive Support:Provide high-level administrative support to the executive and senior management team.Manage executives’ and senior manager’s calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.Prepare and organize meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, enter tasks into our project management software, and follow up on action items.Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact between executives, senior management, and internal/external stakeholders.Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications.Manage company social accounts and assist with marketing communications and public relations.People and Company Culture:Assist in the planning and execution of company events.Help facilitate the hiring process by reviewing resumes, scheduling meetings, and updating our candidate pipeline.Ensure new hires are set up for their first day - work with the hiring manager to organize new hires’ workspace needs and additional applications.Administrative Duties:Maintain organized filing systems and ensure the accuracy of records.Support with accounting: processing and managing expenses, budgets, and invoices.Assist with tax preparation, safety compliance, and other administrative duties.Order office supplies, swag, and support with in-office and lab setup when needed.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in Google Suite and Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.High level of professionalism and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.Ability to respond well and adapt quickly to changesWillingness to work independently and as part of a team and to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environmentCompensation

$35-$40 per hour, depending on experienceAnnual bonus opportunitiesBenefits (available if/when the position becomes full-time):
