Job Overview - Senior Associate, Investment Operations (Hybrid):
Join our client in Boston, MA, as a Senior Associate in Investment Operations. In this hybrid role, you’ll oversee operational activities for alternatives sub-advisory functions, ensuring smooth portfolio management, trade compliance, cash reporting, and performance monitoring.
Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000/year + bonus
Location: Boston, MASchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Associate, Investment Operations:
Operational Oversight:
Manage all aspects of investment operations across private equity, hedge funds, and registered products.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee trade and cash processes, and support performance reporting.
Portfolio Lifecycle:
Lead operational setup for new portfolios and enhance automation with third parties.
Control Environment:
Improve operational controls in coordination with technology teams.
Qualifications for the Senior Associate, Investment Operations:
Education:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Experience:
4+ years in middle or back-office operations within fund management, with a focus on alternative assets.
Skills:
Strong communication, data analysis, and technical acumen, with proficiency in Excel.
