Job OverviewThe Covery Wellness spa is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations in a fast-paced spa environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management and sales, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team to achieve set sales goals.ResponsibilitiesLead the client specialists and nurses in daily duties and keep the team motivated to meet and exceed daily sales goals.Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their sales skills and customer service capabilities.Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.Collaborate with the ownership team to identify and promote new specials and off-site events.Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies accordingly.Plan and conduct bi-weekly staff meetings to ensure all staff is meeting sales goals and performing job duties effectively.Manage preventative maintenance program on all equipment according to manuals and guidelines.Manage staff scheduling and payroll.RequirementsProven experience as a General Manager or Assistant Manager in a spa, fitness studio, or similar setting.Experience with scheduling and lead generation software, email, Word, and Excel. (MindBody experience preferred)Experience with payroll management (Quickbooks) preferred.Strong knowledge and/or interest in preventative health and holistic wellness.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.A passion for health and wellness and commitment to providing an exceptional spa experience for members and clients.Work 20-30 hours a week in the Client Specialist position while also performing other management duties.Compensation:Full-time positionCompetitive compensation: base salary plus commissionComplimentary and discounted company servicesPTO - vacation and sick leaveJoin our team as we strive to create memorable experiences for our customers while fostering a fun and enjoyable workplace for our employees!Job Type:
