Inhab is looking for a Business Manager to join our team of self-starters and solution seekers. The Business Manager will assist the executive team with administrative and financial duties across all branches of the Inhab conglomerate, including Inhab Development, Toulouse Millworks, The Stables, and our property management division.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record day to day financial transactions such as purchase orders, bills, checks, deposits, invoices, and credit card charges.Track and maintain accurate records for all financial transactions as requested by the VP of Finance.Manage accounts receivable and payable transactions.Assist with scanning, filing, answering phones, and running errands.Track office supply inventory and submit supply orders for approval.Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.Greet office visitors to The Stables, maintain office appearance, and act as the point person for administrative, financial, building, and technological questions.Provide tours of The Stables to potential members or those interested in hosting events, manage member accounts and agreements, coordinate event rental invoicing and agreements, schedule maintenance, and manage vendors (cleaning, landscaping, pest control, internet, printing, deliveries, etc.).Serve as the point person for all rental property tenants, collect rent, and coordinate maintenance requests.Assess, modify, and set up systems to increase the efficiency of office operations.Communicate and implement company policies and procedures.Perform other related job duties or responsibilities as requested or required, whether or not specifically mentioned in this job posting.Required SkillsStrong computer proficiency in standard software (Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel) is required.Experience with QuickBooks is required.Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping.Ability to learn new software quickly.Excellent time management and prioritizing capabilities.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with team members.Ability to work independently, manage requests from multiple sources, and meet deadlines.Professionalism in dealing with vendors and clients.Exhibits a willingness to assume additional duties.Ability to adjust to the changing needs of the company.Self-starter and solution seeker.Must have a valid driver’s license and working vehicle.Ability to pass a background check.Compensation commensurate with responsibilities and experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible schedule.Paid time off.Schedule:8 hour shift.Monday to Friday.Ability to Commute:New Orleans, LA 70130 (Required).Ability to Relocate:New Orleans, LA 70130: Relocate before starting work (Required).Work Location: In person.
