Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our office, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take on a challenging role that offers a mix of financial and HR duties.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, to ensure compliance with GAAP.

Manage and maintain the company's accounting software, including Quickbooks.

Provide administrative support to the office, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to emails.

Assist with preparing and distributing company documents and correspondence.

Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including the reception area and supply closet.

Manage and coordinate office supplies and equipment.

Perform double-entry bookkeeping and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive demeanor at all times.

Skills:

Proficiency in financial concepts, including budgeting and accounting principles.

Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and financial report writing.

Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of financial transactions.

Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Familiarity with Quickbooks accounting software.

Experience as an administrative clerk or in a similar role.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday and weekend on-call manager once a month

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 2 years (Preferred)

New Orleans, LA 70130 (Required)
