Develops marketing and/or business plans designed to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability, and manages activities related to the implementation of such plans. Leads projects and provides analytical support for marketing activities within or across business unit lines. Manages timely and relevant communications with internal and external partners and stakeholders.Key Accountabilities

Performs data collection, statistical and numerical analyses in support of strategic, tactical or performance improvement plansGathers information, analyzes, designs, recommends and implements solutions in area of responsibilityManages operations and resources, monitors, reports and develops strategies to improve on key performance metricsCreates and maintains project work plans, campaigns and budgets. Schedules and manages work activities for projects/campaigns to ensure on-time and in-budget completion, while achieving revenue retention/attainment or performance improvement goalsDevelops business or marketing plans based on customer expectations; including performance objectives, strategies, tactics and financial projectionsInterfaces with business units appropriate for the assurance of timely execution of customer-related projectsDefines customer segments and develops customer segment strategies including market scans, gap analyses, metrics and customer service expectationsMeets with customers and customer groups; develops and delivers presentations to internal and external parties; represents the department management at cross-functional meetingsProvides expertise, guidance and/or work direction and participates in the training of internal and external (vendor) staffDevelopment of marketing channel that will reach potential customers in face to face environmentCoordination of marketing campaigns and tactics using external marketing partnersMinimum Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business (or a business-related discipline), Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline and 5+ years of relevant work experienceOther Qualifications

PreferredAnalytical and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of sources and alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.Advanced project management skills, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting skill sets.Lead continuous improvement efforts and use process design outcomes to solve problems.Written, verbal communication and advocacy skills consistent with the ability to present results of projects and research to executive level leaders.Ability to work in a 'team' and/or 'matrix' structure, supporting multiple clients, procedures and policies.Ability to cope with multiple demands from leadership, customers and staff in a positive and professional manner; displays a calm demeanor under pressure.Initiates new ideas and approaches; challenges orthodox practices and approaches with reasonably sound alternatives.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, and other software applications utilized by the business unit sufficient to apply/support them with minimal instruction or guidance. This level of proficiency typically attainable through 3+ year(s) of substantive experience with these applications.Occasional nights, weekends and travel within the State of Michigan will be required.Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to audiences of 10+ people.Additional Information
