EDI Analyst III Our EDI Analyst III serves as the primary interface between multiple business partners, external parties, and technology teams to deliver complex, high profile technical solutions that align with business initiatives. This position serves a key role across many disciplines within the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, design, and testing. Responsibilities Partner with the business to plan and scope business initiatives. Obtain requirements using interviews, code and document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed; functional requirements through the Business Requirements Document (BRD), use cases, Graphical User Interface GUI, screen and interface designs. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Perform system set-up, configuration, administrative duties and testing. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation. Develop and maintain EDI maps using EDI translation software such as Cleo, 1 EDI Source, etc. Configure and establish EDI trading partners and communication channels using protocols such as AS2, SFTP, or HTTPS. Implement and monitor EDI systems and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues and errors. Analyze the business needs and requirements for EDI solutions. Document and update EDI processes and procedures. Maintain current knowledge with respect to relevant EDI trends and capabilities. Perform other duties as assigned.
