Position Summary:The Event Assistant will support the Event Manager in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing on-site activities, and ensuring that all aspects of events run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and services.Manage registration and guest check-in processes.Provide on-site support during events, including setting up, breaking down, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.Communicate with guests and clients to ensure their needs are met and inquiries are addressed.Monitor event timelines and assist in keeping the event on schedule.Assist in post-event evaluations and reporting.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Benefits
