Job Purpose
This role supports PST's four division leads and its 80+ cost center managers with budgeting, forecasting, accounting / finance, manpower tracking, capital investment along with SAP, and other corporate tasks. The team is expected to track and calculate ROI, IRR, and ROS for all activities within Parts, Service, Planning & Customer Relations, and Technical divisions. The Finance and Administration department is responsible for all tracking, monitoring, and reporting of financial matters for the operations.
With over $800M in inventory and over $4B in annual sales, there are a multitude of financials that are monitored daily.Manage PST operations' budget, finances, capital expenditures, shopping carts, impacts to P&L to level one tree objectives relating to Parts profitability of $1.1B and ROS through meticulous management / tracking of details / calculations of IRR/ROI/NPV/ P&L items etc.
Key Accountabilities
Monthly Closing - Complete and improve various monthly accounting close and financial reporting activities. Process month-end journal entries and review supporting documentation. Coordinate and complete several monthly financial reports accurately and within deadlines.Anaylze promotional activities and financial impact - Review, track, and thoroughly assess financial impact of promo activities prior to promo activation. Work with various deparments such as Parts Marketing to assist with timely promo creation, review, and analysis.Vendor and dealer related activities - Process dealer debits and credits for returns and OARs and vendor payments.Analyze Logistics and Operations Planning -
Coordinate monthly review and analysis of inventory and its financial impact. Monitor monthly misc. inventory adjustments and compile various inventory related reports. Communicate with parts centers to ensure all proper documentation is recevied on-time and with accuracy.Prepare Ad-Hoc Analysis - Reprioritize tasks to include additional analyses requested by management or Corporate Finance.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Bus Admin / Accounting / Finance & or related fields such as operations management or math; or MBA PreferredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a global / international company with experience and knowledge in warehousing, distribution, logistics, dealership, service operations, strategic planning and/or customer relationsIntermediate to Advanced Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills (pivot table, advanced modelling skills)Database query and parts specific knowledgeKnowledge of Parts, Service, CR, Strategy and/or Technical business ops preferredPlanning & organizing with results orientation focusStrong written and oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills requiredHandle deadlines and work independently (self-starter)
