Are you an experienced Family Law Attorney with a passion for making a difference? We are a dynamic and progressive law firm in the legal industry, seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. We are committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients, helping them navigate through complex family law matters. Responsibilities:
As a Family Law Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.
- Advising clients on their rights and responsibilities under the law, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Conducting thorough research to prepare for court proceedings, ensuring that all relevant facts and legal arguments are presented clearly and effectively.
- Negotiating with opposing counsel to resolve disputes and reach settlements that are in the best interests of our clients.
- Participating in mediation sessions, facilitating productive discussions and helping clients reach amicable resolutions.
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements, ensuring that they are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with legal standards.
- Keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases, providing regular updates and promptly responding to their inquiries.
- Staying current with developments in family law, continually expanding your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible representation for our clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Family Law Attorney position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing family law.
- Active membership in the state bar.
- Proficient in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.
- Experience with mediation and negotiation, with a proven track record of reaching favorable settlements for clients.
- Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide compassionate, empathetic service.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity, with a commitment to upholding the principles of the legal profession.
