Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Sr. Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be handling a vast array of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, and more. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception to completion, providing legal advice to clients, and representing them in court. This is a permanent position that requires a deep understanding of family law and a commitment to providing exceptional legal service.

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Family Law Attorney, your duties will include:

1. Handling a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, and more.
2. Meeting with clients to discuss their cases, identify their objectives, and provide them with strategic legal advice.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and filing all necessary legal documents for each case.
4. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing on their behalf.
5. Conducting thorough legal research to stay updated on changes in family law and to build strong cases for clients.
6. Negotiating settlements whenever possible to avoid lengthy court proceedings.
7. Collaborating with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to manage caseloads effectively.
8. Providing compassionate and empathetic service to clients during difficult times in their lives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Family Law Attorney position will have:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in family law, with a strong emphasis on litigation.
4. Proven experience in handling a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, etc.
5. Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations related to family law.
7. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
8. A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. A deep commitment to client service, with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support to clients in difficult situations.
