We are seeking experienced and board-certified/board-eligible physicians to join our team for a locum tenens opportunity near Oklahoma City, OK. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Care:

    • Provide urgent care to patients aged 6 months and older.
    • Perform minor procedures, including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, and IV placement.
    • Interpret EKGs and X-rays with on-site equipment available.
  • Schedule:

    • Up to 14 shifts per month, with a preference for those able to cover multiple consecutive shifts, including weekends.
    • Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 8 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
    • No overtime granted for this position.
  • EMR System:

    • Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management.
    • Training on the EMR system will be provided after credentialing and onboarding.
Certification and Licensing:
  • Must Be:
    • Residency-trained and board-certified/eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
    • Comfortable working with both adults and pediatric patients (6 months and older).
    • Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board (AOB) is required.

  • Support Staff:

    • Collaborate with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians.
    • No RN/LPN support staff provided.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    • Board-certified or board-eligible physicians must complete board certification within five years of residency.

  • Collaboration:

    • Open to collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed. Please submit associated costs for collaboration.
