This will include preparing journal entries, summarizing results, general ledger analysis, and completing account reconciliations. This role will be focused on revenue recognition, cost of goods sold, and inventory accounting. This person will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP. This is a great opportunity to join a public, fast-paced business. The position will provide the opportunity to learn how high growth business models operate, all while obtaining substantial guidance, feedback, and mentoring from a Finance team with private and public accounting experience.

ResponsibilitiesPreparing general ledger entries, maintaining records and files, and reconciling accountsValidating deductions received from retailersAssisting in inventory control proceduresLearning and enhancing our current accounting proceduresAnswering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataCollaborating with internal and external business partners to resolve transactional issuesActing as liaison between Finance and other departmentsSupporting our internal and external auditsSupporting and maintaining strong internal control policies and proceduresSupporting warehouse audits onsite across various locations in the U.S.Identifying and leading opportunities for process improvementsProviding accounting support to other business units for special projects/ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as necessary

Required experience:Bachelors degree in accounting required, CPA preferred but not required1+ year of public or industry-specific accounting experienceStrong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointDetail-oriented with proven analytical and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive approach to problem solvingHigh degree of business acumen and emotional intelligenceTeam player with ability to effectively and efficiently work cross-functionallyAt SharkNinja, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are vital to our global success.
