Certified Welding Inspector

No fees are charged to candidates.Requirements:Experience: At least 3 years of inspection work with pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, or structural steel.Certifications: Holding or the ability to obtain API certifications (510, 653, 570) and AWS Certified Welding Inspector credentials.NDT Skills: Level II NDT certification (UT, MT, PT, MFE) or the ability to qualify.Inspection Methods: Proficiency in a range of inspection techniques, including MT, PT, UTT, UTS, Phased Array UT, and MFE.Field Work: Must be comfortable with 70% of work in the field, involving confined spaces and outdoor environments.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management: Experience in managing Process Safety Management (PSM) and structural-related projects.Certifications: Additional NDT or relevant industry certifications are a plus.Client Management: Strong ability to maintain positive client relationships and promote company services.Role Summary:Raizan Solutions LLC is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector to perform inspections and NDT for pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, and structural steel. The role consists of 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks, with occasional travel for assignments requiring overnight stays (per diem and mileage will be reimbursed).Key Responsibilities:Conduct visual inspections and evaluate PSM systems in compliance with API 653, 570, and 510.Perform inspections in fabrication shops and on-site for welded and bolted structural steel.Execute NDT methods such as MT, PT, UTT, UTS, Phased Array UT, and MFE.Prepare technical reports and carry out code calculations.Oversee PSM and structural project management.Foster positive relationships with clients and represent the company's services.Additional Information:Base location can be in Chesterfield, MO, or Collinsville, IL.The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance and 401K.You will report to an API Certified Professional Engineer who can provide training and certification opportunities for qualified NDT inspectors.For a quick response, contact Nil (248) 829-3143
